King Faisal Football Club have produced one of the most dramatic combacks in World Football coming from a 3 goal down to beat Highly defensive Berekum Chelsea side in Techiman.
The Insha Allah Boys were 3 goals down in just 18 minutes of play after Paul Atta Adjei’s brace, and a Stephen Amankonah drive put them out of contention.
Faisal coached by Nana Andy Sinason reduced the deficit before the half time break through Kwame Peprah, who slotted in a 40th minute penalty.
Faisal returned from the break not looking like a team that was down, and lifted their play, pilling pressure on their guest, With Frimpong Boateng directing Play.
It took them only 11 minutes to score their second of the day after inspiirer Frimpong Boateng scored the second to make the scores 2-3.
Coach Sinason brought on young Zubairu Ibrahim to strengthen his midfield, and this seemed to pay off as his drives pushed the side closer to the Chelsea goal area.
Inspired by Kwame Peprah, Faisal got the much needed equalizer in the 78th minute, before running away with a sweet victory from Frimpong Boateng, who’s brace set the 25% fans agog at the Nana Ameyaw Park.
The win is King Faisal’s second win of the season, and new Coach Nana Andy Sinason’s first win after taking over from Serbian Bozicic.
