Netball South Africa to visit Ghana.

A group of technical experts under a programme dubbed “LEGACY PROGRAMME” which is an offshoot of the World Netball tournament to be hosted by NETBALL SOUTH AFRICA in 2023 will visit Ghana from the 2ND SEPTEMBER – 11TH SEPTEMBER, 2022.

The Legacy Programme is being funded and implemented by NETBALL SOUTH AFRICA. During their 10-day stay in Ghana, they will organize coaching, umpiring, and technical courses for participants from the Netball Federation of Ghana.

They will also hold a meeting with the Executive Board of the Netball Federation of Ghana on gth September, 2022 and launch what they term “FRIDAY NETBALL LAUNCH” on 9th September, 2022. They will also pay courtesy calls on the Director General of National Sports Authority, Prof.
Patrick Twumasi, the Executive Chairman of the L.O.C of the Africa Games – Accra 2023, Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare and the Hon. Minster of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Yussif.

The President of Netball South Africa, Mad. Cecilia Molokwane and the World Netball Representative in Africa, Mad. Joan Fruit will accompany the Technical Experts of the LEGACY PROGRAMME on their visit to Ghana. The visit will afford the President of Africa Netball and the World Netball Representative in Africa the opportunity to hold discussions with the Executive Chairman of the L.O.C Accra 2023 and the Hon. Minister of Youth and Sports on the organization of the game if netball at the AFRICA GAMES – ACCRA 2023.
