It was Uganda’s day and they deserve their moment in the sun now. They got inside the Ghana Eagles heads and beat them up mentally as the scores at the first half ended 29-12 in favour of the Uganda’s.
The attack of the Black Eagles never functioned as it was supposed to and not the way they wanted and with the inclusion of foreign players. The Eagles did their best but was not enough to come back in the second department of the game.
The Uganda’s increased their goals to 53 as the Eagles were struggling to defend the attacking prowess of the Uganda’s. Ghana Eagles will go to the drawing board and prepare for their second game of the qualifiers against Algeria Tuesday as they lost to Uganda 53-12 at the end of the game.
The players will do recovery training tomorrow morning and prepare well on Monday to play their final game against Algeria.
