Ghana’s Men’s Sevens team departed for Mauritius ahead of the Africa Men’s Sevens 2026 tournament

Last night, Ghana’s national men’s rugby sevens team, the Eagles, officially departed for Mauritius ahead of the 2026 Africa Men’s Sevens Championship, carrying the hopes and aspirations of a nation as they prepare to take on some of the continent’s finest rugby teams.

The championship will be held on June 20–21, 2026, at SPARC in Cascavelle, Mauritius, where twelve nations will compete for continental supremacy in one of Africa’s premier rugby events.

With preparations completed and confidence running high, the Eagles are determined to make their mark on the tournament and proudly represent Ghana on the international stage.
