Benjamin Asare, the goalkeeper of the Ghana national football team and captain of Accra Hearts of Oak, visited the Ministry of Sports and Recreation to express his appreciation to the people of Ghana for their steadfast support and confidence in his abilities. During the visit, Asare highlighted that the encouragement and trust from Ghanaians played a significant role in his performances, particularly during the recent FIFA World Cup. “Their support has been a great motivation for me to give my best on the pitch,” he remarked.
Hon. Kofi Adams, the Minister for Sports and Recreation, acknowledged the vital role of Ghanaians in Asare’s journey. He took the opportunity to thank the goalkeeper for his self-belief and dedication, which paved the way for his participation at the highest levels of international football. “Benjamin’s confidence and commitment have been instrumental in earning him this opportunity to serve Ghana,” the Minister stated.

He praised the goalkeeper’s calm and composed nature, qualities that have contributed to his impressive performances and recent national team call-up. “Benjamin’s composure under pressure and his relentless hard work have rightfully earned him a place in the national team,” Hon. Kofi Adams emphasized.
