Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare is set to receive a brand-new JAC vehicle worth $38,000 after being named the best domestic-based player in the Black Stars.
The Ghana Football Association President Mr. Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku announced in his speech at the 32nd Ordinary Congress of the association, held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
Asare enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 season, recording 14 clean sheets for Hearts of Oak and establishing himself as one of the standout goalkeepers in Ghana’s domestic football.
His performances also earned him recognition with the senior national team, with the GFA now set to reward his contribution as the best home-based player in the Black Stars.
The $38,000 JAC vehicle will serve as recognition for Asare’s impressive form and consistency, adding another major achievement to a breakthrough period in his career.
