Two talented players from Ghana Women’s Premier League side Ladystrikers FC, Ellen Gai and Alhassan Fatima, have departed Ghana to begin an exciting new chapter in their football careers after securing trial opportunities with clubs in the Netherlands and Germany.

The move, facilitated by ASI Sports Consult, is aimed at exposing the two players to European football and providing them with the opportunity to earn professional contracts as they continue their development.

Both players were key members of the Ladystrikers squad during the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League season, contributing significantly to the club’s campaign with their performances and commitment.

Ellen Gai enjoyed an impressive season, scoring three goals and earning one Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, underlining her influence in the team. Alhassan Fatima also made valuable contributions, finding the back of the net twice and establishing herself as an important player for the Cape Coast-based side.

The trials represent another milestone for both players and reflect the growing recognition of Ghanaian women’s football talent on the international stage. Success in Europe would not only mark a personal achievement for the duo but also serve as an inspiration to many young female footballers aspiring to play professionally abroad.

ASI Sports Consult continues to play an important role in creating international pathways for promising Ghanaian footballers, connecting local talent with clubs overseas and helping them pursue careers at the highest level.

Ladystrikers FC will be hopeful that the two players impress during their respective trials and secure contracts that could open the door to professional football in Europe while further enhancing the reputation of the Ghana Women’s Premier League as a breeding ground for emerging talent.
