University of South Florida standout Doris Quainoo continued her excellence in the hurdles and contributed significantly in the sprints as the Bulls competed at the 2026 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Quainoo earned a silver medal in the women’s 100m hurdles for the second consecutive season, clocking a new personal best of 13.08 seconds.
Her consistent podium presence in the hurdles event underscores her status as one of the conference’s top hurdlers.
In addition to her individual success, Quainoo anchored the USF women’s 4x100m relay team alongside Tristen Evatt, Lynette Scutari, and Skyler Watts. The quartet claimed bronze with a solid time of 45.36 seconds, adding valuable points to the Bulls’ team total.
Quainoo’s back-to-back silver medals in the 100m hurdles highlight her reliability and steady improvement at the conference level. Her new personal best of 13.08 shows she is performing at a higher level this season.
Combined with her relay contribution, she played a key role in South Florida’s efforts on the final day of the championships.
The USF women’s team finished 7th overall with 66 points, while the men placed 3rd with 116 points. Quainoo’s two medals were important bright spots for the women’s squad.
With these results, Doris Quainoo has positioned herself well for the upcoming NCAA East First Round in Lexington, Kentucky (May 27–30). She is expected to be among the athletes selected when the NCAA announces qualifiers on May 21.
