Match Day 7 of the RLFG 13s Championship delivered one of the biggest results of the 2026 campaign so far, as Panthers defeated previously unbeaten Dragons 20–14 in a thrilling contest. The round also saw Tigers secure a convincing victory over Titans, while Bulls collected a 30–0 walkover win over Skolars.

Panthers produced a major championship statement by defeating Dragons 20–14 and ending their unbeaten run in the 2026 RLFG 13s Championship. Dragons had remained undefeated throughout the matches they had played this season, but Panthers proved capable of overcoming one of the competition’s strongest sides in a tightly contested encounter.
Panthers made the stronger start, with Arimiyaw Shariff opening the scoring in the 9th minute before Adams Marsuu successfully converted to give Panthers an early 6–0 advantage. Dragons responded through Elikem Kuwornu Kwami in the 17th minute, although the conversion was unsuccessful. Panthers regained control when Sheihu Tijani crossed in the 25th minute, with Marsuu adding the conversion to extend the lead. Dragons continued to fight back, and Prince Chris Ebo Da-Gama scored just before halftime to reduce the deficit to 10–8.

The second half became increasingly competitive. Dragons drew level through a 61st-minute penalty kick from Aboudy Moussa, before Elvis Ayertey crossed three minutes later. Despite another missed conversion, Dragons had moved into a 14–10 lead and appeared to have shifted the momentum in their favour.
Panthers, however, responded when Sheihu Tijani scored his second try of the match in the 72nd minute, bringing the game back within reach. With the contest entering its decisive stages, Panthers continued to push forward and Adam Ibrahim Adam crossed in the 80th minute to put Panthers back in front. Marsuu then successfully converted to seal a dramatic 20–14 victory.

The result represents a significant moment in the championship, with Panthers becoming the first side to defeat Dragons in the 2026 RLFG 13s Championship and handing the previously unbeaten side its first loss of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Bulls collected a 30–0 walkover victory over Skolars, securing the available points without the fixture being played.
Tigers also secured an important 28–14 victory over Titans, producing a dominant first-half performance to establish a 22–4 lead at the break. Tigers started at pace, with Delali Emmanuel, Godfred Aikins, Gideon Klugey and Emmanuel Darku all finding the try line. Klugey added his second try shortly before halftime to give Tigers a commanding advantage.

Titans responded through Bernard Akoto in the first half before Smyly Nii Otu Chinery and George Tetteh Ayettey added further tries after the break, making this their best performance. Tigers, however, maintained control, with Anthony Tawiah adding another try in the second half as they closed out a convincing 28–14 victory and collected valuable competition points.
Match Day 7 once again demonstrated the growing intensity of the 2026 RLFG 13s Championship.
