Coming off a crushing 6–2 loss to Exchequers in Week 5, Army’s worst defeat since joining the league, the soldiers found redemption against Police, despite it officially being their fifth match of the campaign.
Police struck early, taking the lead in the 7th minute through a penalty corner converted by Ebenezer Arthur. Army, however, refused to panic. After sustained pressure and tactical adjustments, Eric Dzotsi emerged as the hero, firing home a field goal in the 50th minute of the final quarter. Just five minutes later, Dzotsi completed the comeback with another field goal, sealing a 2–1 victory and securing all three points for Army.

League leaders Exchequers continued their dominance with a narrow but vital 1–0 win over Reformers. Raphael Agyapong’s 40th-minute penalty corner proved decisive, stretching Exchequers’ lead at the top of the table to 15 points.
Ghana Revenue Authority men delivered the most emphatic result of the week, dismantling University of Ghana 8–1. Kwesi Anim led the charge with a hat-trick, while Ernest Obeng, Christopher Dogbe, Henry Quartey, Ignatius Appiah, and Prince Klutse all found the net. Notably, all eight GRA goals came from open play.
In the Women’s Division, Reformers and Extinguishers battled to a goalless draw in the Week 6 opener. Police Ladies, however, were ruthless, hammering University of Ghana Ladies 16–0. Faustina Agyrey starred with five field goals, Nafisatu Omoaru netted four, Serwaa Boakye added three, while Regina Mensah, Fiador Evelyn, and Nafisa Sumani chipped in with one goal each.
The women’s clash between Army and Ghana Revenue Authority ended in a 1–1 draw. After a goalless first half, Lydia Afriyie broke the deadlock for Army in the 31st minute with a field goal, before Augustina Ackon equalised for GRA from a penalty corner.
Week 6 lived up to expectations, producing 13 goals in the Men’s Division and 18 in the Women’s, a thrilling total of 31 goals.
